QuickBooks Online Training

We work with clients that are new to using Quickbooks Online by providing them with custom tailored training. The training is built to walk you through setting up your Quickbooks Online file, customizing it and going through the daily and monthly bookkeeping procedures you will need to perform.

Step 1: We will review the Quickbooks Online file. During this process we will take detailed notes of any errors and/or issues we come across and will send the notes to you. This will familiarize us with the clients file and provide us with a starting point for the training.

Step 2: We will schedule a call to discuss our findings from the review. While on the call we will ask questions to gain more insight answer any questions that you might have and discuss the next steps in the training process. We will also schedule the first training session.

Step 3: Our trainings last 1 hour each and typically 2 – 3 sessions. This is to ensure you don’t loose focus and so we don’t overwhelm you with information. During the training we have the client sit in the driver seat while we direct clicks on the screen and explain the process to you. After our session, we will provide you with homework, whether it be data entry, reconciling accounts, etc. This way you can work on what we trained, make mistakes, take notes and we will discuss during our next session.

Step 4: We will follow up with you to see how the homework is going and to schedule the next session. During the next session we will review your work, answer any questions you had during the process and then build onto the training with the next steps in bookkeeping procedures.

Step 5: Training is complete and CHW Bookkeeping is available for future training, questions or even take on your books as an outsourced bookkeeper.
